[Improvement Case] Barcode Reader Engraving: Reduction of Engraving Time and Prevention of Injuries
Convert the serial number into a barcode and include it in the instruction sheet to prevent stamping errors by scanning.
To construction machinery manufacturers, we would like to introduce an improvement case that reduces stamping time and prevents injuries using the TechnoMark automatic marking machine. When stamping a 13-digit manufacturing number onto the chassis, manual stamping resulted in poor work efficiency. If a stamping error occurred, it took a significant amount of time to correct it, and there were safety issues, such as accidentally hitting one's hand with a hammer during the stamping process. Therefore, we propose stamping using the "TechnoMark MULTI4 Handheld Model Barcode Reader." Instead of visually confirming the manufacturing number written on the instruction sheet for stamping, we converted the manufacturing number into a barcode, included it on the instruction sheet, and scanned it, which helped prevent stamping errors. [Issues] - Poor work efficiency when manually stamping a 13-digit manufacturing number onto the chassis. - Significant time required for corrections in case of stamping errors. - Safety issues, such as accidentally hitting one's hand with a hammer during stamping. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
