Here is an example of "marking on plastic" using a marking system. This integrated dot marking machine, the "M4 Inline 50," ensures traceability of injection-molded plastic parts. The "M4 Inline" can engrave timestamps on utility vehicle tanks for the automotive industry. This machine is incorporated into a semi-automatic workstation, where the operator first manually places the workpiece at the marking position. After the workpiece is clamped, a leak test is performed, and the marking is only done if the workpiece passes the test. For machine testing and synchronization testing with other processes, a 16 I/O card is used. It is also equipped with a pneumatic Z-axis that allows the marking head to move horizontally relative to the workpiece.
