MINIMUS is a very multifunctional device designed and manufactured by NVLS, characterized by its ultra-compact, lightweight, and durable (using lightweight alloys) design. Weighing 180g and measuring 85mm in length, it is an unprecedentedly small night vision monocular that can be used in various applications such as monocular goggles, binocular goggles, helmet mounts, head mounts, and weapon mounts for special forces and police.

The NVLS helmet mount/head mount is equipped with an electromagnetic switch that allows the entire system to be flipped up, and when using binoculars, if one device is shifted to the side, the unused device automatically switches OFF, preventing detection by enemies. Thanks to the close collaboration between NVLS and the image intensifier manufacturer PHOTONIS, we have successfully commercialized a monocular equipped with a 16mm image intensifier that is among the smallest in the world and offers the highest quality level. The MINIMUS, using the latest 16mm image intensifier (FOM>1800), provides the best performance for information gathering and combat in any scene. It can be mounted not only on helmet and head mounts but also on diving masks, allowing for dives up to a depth of 25 meters. Upon request, we also accept custom orders for a high-spec version using an image intensifier with FOM>2000.
