We would like to introduce a case study on solving issues related to the "nozzle for suctioning electronic components." This product is a nozzle used to suction electronic components and move them to the desired location during assembly. However, there was a challenge with the nozzle wearing out quickly, resulting in a short lifespan. To address this, we conducted interviews and proposed changes in material, hardening, and surface treatment. As a result, the hardness of the product increased, the lifespan was extended, and cost reductions became possible, which was greatly appreciated.
