Robot sanding, polishing, deburring, and other tool exchange automation unit!
FerRobotics ACF-K
Freely automate various surface processing with a tool exchange system. The ultimate tool for robot polishing and deburring automation. Instant automatic pressure correction with a stroke of 35mm.
The ACF-K is a tool exchange unit that allows for easy attachment and detachment of hand tools such as angle grinders, belt sanders, orbital sanders, and die grinders. It enables simple automation with constant control of applied pressure, contributing to your company's labor-saving efforts. FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) that occurs during processing against dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces in grinding and polishing processes that require skilled techniques. It also automatically compensates for gravitational loads, allowing for grinding and polishing at a consistently set applied pressure. This technology can increase the speed at which devices and robots move along their trajectories, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle times. Additionally, in robotic polishing and grinding, the ACF itself controls the applied pressure by adjusting its stroke, eliminating the need to move the heavy robot arm for corrections, which assists in improving the processing speed of robotic polishing. Furthermore, it automatically compensates for tool loads due to gravity, which varies with the robot's angle, ensuring a consistent applied pressure from any angle and enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.

Using our patented technology, Active Compliant Technology (ACT), we provide the best solutions for robotic polishing and grinding, equipping industrial robots with tactile feedback to enhance flexibility, reliability, and profitability in manufacturing environments more than ever before. The ACT, optimized for robots, automatically measures the necessary pressing force, instantly compensates for complex surface shapes, and enables consistent processing with a fixed pressing force. It can also respond to sudden opposing forces, such as when the target workpiece moves. As a standard tool and as a custom package product tailored to special requirements, ACT clearly contributes to efficiency improvements in production processes that have previously been impossible to automate. By confirming the performance of our ACT solution, you will immediately feel the results. It brings overwhelming effectiveness to automated polishing and grinding (polishing, sanding, grinding, deburring, buffing, mirror finishing, etc.).
