"KATTENA" is a recommended flooring for accommodation facilities such as hotels and inns, where many people come and go. KATTENA is highly resistant to scratches and easy to maintain. Compared to existing flooring, it can maintain a beautiful appearance over a long period. The reason it is scratch-resistant is that the surface of the flooring uses high-strength "melamine." The hardness of melamine is over 9H, making it difficult to scratch even with heavy luggage like travelers' suitcases. It can also be used with shoes on, making it a good measure for inbound tourism aimed at foreign tourists. Maintenance can be easily done with a mop, which can shorten room cleaning time. Additionally, it has passed sound insulation tests and is excellent in soundproofing, making it effective for noise reduction to the lower floors. Scratch resistance and abrasion resistance test: Perform 500 rotations under a test load of 1000g and determine the wear reduction per 100 rotations. Compared to olefin sheet flooring, which is generally considered to be scratch-resistant, KATTENA is a flooring with significantly higher scratch resistance.

Stain resistance test: Apply blue ink, red crayon, oil-based marker, and hair dye, leave for 6 hours, wipe off with water, and verify the surface residue condition. Even on olefin sheet flooring, which is said to be stain-resistant, stains remain, but KATTENA shows no stains and is extremely resistant to dirt.

Burn resistance test: Verification after water spraying for scorch and tar with a lit cigarette left for 2 minutes. KATTENA is a flooring made of melamine resin, which is also used as an ashtray material, making it heat-resistant and extremely difficult to leave scorch marks.
