For patients with visual impairments! A guiding mat with comprehensive barrier-free measures.
Visual impairment walking guidance soft mat "Bodou-kun Guideway"
Are you thinking that providing consideration for visually impaired patients is sufficient just by having tactile paving? A walking guidance mat as an alternative to tactile paving.
How far can we go using the currently installed tactile paving? When the minimum tactile paving is installed according to the Building Standards Act and the Barrier-Free Act, many hospitals only have tactile paving set up to the entrance intercom or reception. <People with visual impairments face these challenges> ■ They were guided from the reception to the waiting area, but since the staff seems busy, it’s hard to ask to go to the restroom. ■ It feels uncomfortable to ask for guidance at the reception every time. Are you aware that some people feel hesitant to request support? In hospitals, there are also patients using stretchers, IV stands, and wheelchairs, as well as elderly individuals, so the installation of tactile paving is often kept to a minimum. This guiding mat can support the walking of visually impaired individuals even in such environments. *For more details, please visit the product website or feel free to contact us. https://guideway.jp/
