We started working with a Japanese automotive manufacturer to change the film application process to a liquid application method. We successfully commercialized a ribbon application technology with a 100% coating efficiency without any overspray. The film for this LATC is not only intended for protecting the coating from factory shipment to dealers but also serves to prevent scratches during the assembly process.
