Home appliances, furniture, housing equipment, etc... Can be applied to speed control of various items.
The new product that has emerged in the damper industry, which is primarily focused on rotary types, is the linear resin damper "FPD Series." Like shock absorbers, it "catches" the motion, allowing for braking on linear movements. This popular product is increasingly being adopted in various industries, including home appliances, furniture, and housing equipment. The role of the FPD is to "slow down movement." By slowing it down, the following added values can be expected: (1) Improved Safety For example, with sliding doors, there is a possibility of accidents where children or the elderly might get their hands caught. Slowing down the movement can help prevent this. (2) Noise Reduction By softly catching the motion, the FPD can also reduce loud operational sounds. This can decrease stress during use. (3) Creation of a Sense of Luxury The slow movement and quiet operation—these qualities convey a high level of sophistication akin to luxury cars to the user. Please consider this when designing high-end models.

Company information
Shock absorbers are devices that absorb the impact or energy of objects, and their applications range from industrial machinery to automobiles, residential equipment, and consumer electronics, suggesting an almost infinite range of potential uses wherever there is movement. Types of products include shock absorbers primarily used in industrial machinery, rotary dampers aimed at "designing sound and motion," oscillating dampers and small resin dampers from the FPD series used in home appliances and office automation equipment, among others. We also handle gas springs that assist movement. In particular, consumer products that pursue "safety, functionality, and sensitivity" have received high praise from various sectors for their technological capabilities. To continue providing products that meet diverse needs in line with the evolving market environment, we will keep "creating movement" under excellent technological expertise and advanced quality control.
