The high-efficiency nozzle-type steam trap "Steam REVO" is an essential device for facilities such as food factories and chemical plants where steam piping is utilized. The nozzle of "Steam REVO" incorporates unique technology in the shape of the condensate inflow side, significantly improving the fluid rectification effect. An approximately 15-20% improvement in discharge efficiency can be expected. It allows for a reduction in the diameter of the nozzle hole for the same amount of condensate, which helps to suppress steam leakage even when the condensate volume decreases under low load conditions. It eliminates the causes of pipe bursts due to water hammer (the collision of water with pressure inside the pipe). All parts are made of stainless steel that has undergone rolling and annealing treatment. This product is an automatic valve that discharges condensate generated by heat dissipation and thermal use in steam piping to the outside. Conventional products experience increased steam leakage when the movable parts of the discharge mechanism, which operate based on changes in pressure and temperature, deteriorate and wear out. In contrast, this product introduces a fluid rectification effect into a nozzle-type discharge mechanism that requires no movable parts, contributing to long life, high efficiency, and low maintenance burden, thereby helping to reduce steam costs and carbon dioxide emissions in steam-using factories. Conventional products select excessive discharge capacity relative to the amount of condensate at the installation site to avoid condensate retention through intermittent discharge by opening and closing the discharge port. In the continuous discharge nozzle type, the adjustment of discharge capacity through the selection of nozzle diameter can be done flexibly and appropriately, allowing for significant reduction in steam leakage. This product exhibits a synergistic effect of the conventional Venturi principle (which increases flow velocity and lowers pressure by constricting fluid flow), the Coanda effect (the tendency of a viscous fluid to be attracted to nearby walls), and the ejector principle (the principle by which a high-speed flowing fluid draws in surrounding fluid). As a result, it has a structure with zero variable parts and does not require a valve function that opens and closes for condensate discharge.
