We have examined the advantages and disadvantages of airframe tents and traditional pole tents, and through repeated testing, we have considered what structure is optimal for airframe tents. It became clear that a configuration consisting solely of U-shaped airframes does not stand independently, leading to issues where flexible frames are easily affected by wind, compromising stability. This highlighted the need for the development of a durable and stable frame structure to address this problem. The new frame structure that emerged from this is the X-shaped frame "Xframe," which is adopted in ANDAIR's tents. The feature of "Xframe" is that by joining U-shaped airframes in an X shape, it resolves the disadvantages of airframes that do not occur in traditional tents, such as "side swaying in strong winds" and "reduction of main space due to the enlargement of frames necessary to secure ceiling height," thus creating stability. Supporting "Xframe" at a high level is the "QwikFrame" technology, which combines three special materials to distribute stress on the X parts and increase the strength of the joints, preventing air leakage.
