Active Noise Canceling (ANC) is a technology that utilizes the ability to synthesize sound by generating a phase-inverted canceling sound to reduce noise. By outputting the canceling sound from speakers in response to the sound collected by a microphone, noise is reduced. Our ANC system is characterized by achieving noise reduction with just one microphone.

Install a noise-canceling speaker in the duct and a pickup microphone at the noise cancellation point. The controller (PC) collects sound from the microphone and outputs sound from the speaker to cancel out the noise, thereby reducing it. By adopting a feedback algorithm for the noise control filter, it eliminates the need for a pickup microphone for the noise source required by the feedforward algorithm, achieving this with just one pickup microphone at the noise cancellation point.
