6-axis/9-axis fusion quaternion, maximum output rate of 225Hz with low latency output, no additional fusion required, 9-axis IMU sensor.
The 9-axis IMU sensor hayate_imu, featuring a low-power processor CortexM0+, is the successor to the MPU-9250, utilizing the ICM-20948 which operates at a low voltage of 1.71V. It provides low-latency output of 6-axis/9-axis fused quaternion data from the FPGA on chip (DMP3), eliminating the need for separate software fusion. The maximum output rate is 225Hz, capable of simultaneously outputting 3-axis acceleration (accelerometer) data at 225Hz, 3-axis angular velocity (gyroscope) data at 225Hz, and 3-axis magnetic field (compass) data at 75Hz, with no pre-calibration required. It is compatible with ROS, and is expected to be utilized in scientific research and prototype verification for electronic machinery such as robots, where low latency is essential.
