The Agricultural Machinery Training Center floor was constructed with "Seal Hard Premium." It is a floor that combines design, high durability, and low maintenance, serving as a warehouse as well as a display area.
In 2021, we completed the flooring of the exhibition room at the Toyama Prefectural Agricultural Machinery Training Center. The specification is "Seal Hard Premium," finished in the same way as the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and the Hirosaki Brick Warehouse Museum. The designer's intention was for "a space that serves as both an exhibition room and a warehouse. A clean-looking floor that takes into account customer traffic, and strength to withstand agricultural machinery." This perfectly aligns with the characteristics of "Seal Hard Premium." "Seal Hard Premium" is a two-coat specification. The first coat uses the standard Seal Hard specification to enhance the strength of the substrate. In the second application, additional Seal Hard is applied to the floor, followed by polishing. The standard Seal Hard specification improves abrasion resistance and dust-proofing, while further enhancing strength and design in the finish. As you can see in the photos, the polished floor reflects light and sunlight. Additionally, since the ceiling and columns are finished in concrete, there is a sense of unity throughout the space. Imagining agricultural machinery fitting into the strong atmosphere of concrete makes the choice of "Seal Hard Premium" feel like the right decision. Seal Hard is a colorless, odorless, and environmentally friendly concrete surface hardener that is non-polluting. It is a colorless, transparent liquid primarily composed of sodium silicate. After application, it penetrates the surface of the concrete and undergoes a chemical reaction with the concrete components, producing a glass-like substance on the surface. This chemical reaction continues over time with regular water washing, providing moisture replenishment. Concrete reinforced with Seal Hard becomes more beautiful and glossy with use and regular washing over the years. Even when a shine develops, it does not become slippery. Seal Hard Premium is widely used in commercial facilities and public property floors. In addition to the commercial facility examples introduced this time, there are numerous achievements in public and private properties, including museums, art galleries, and logistics centers. The application of Seal Hard is done in two parts. The first application can be done after the eighth day following concrete placement, and the second application can be performed at least 14 days after the first application. Due to the inclusion of polishing in the specifications, the surface is finished to be smooth and glossy from the time of completion, making maintenance very easy. It results in a glossy floor while retaining the texture of the concrete.

[First Construction - Floor Cleaning Process] Seal Hard Premium is divided into two construction phases. In the first phase, we will create a solid base. The ritual before applying Seal Hard: floor cleaning. We wash the floor with plenty of water and remove any weak areas.

[First Application_Seal Hard Coating] This is the scene of the Seal Hard coating during the first application. The maximum penetration amount is applied to the floor. It is applied evenly and without gaps, both vertically and horizontally, as much as possible.

[First Application Completed] This is a photo taken immediately after the first application was completed. Can you see the faint gloss? After a certain period following the first application, we will enhance the floor's strength before proceeding to the second application.

Second Floor Cleaning This is the floor cleaning process for the second time. We will remove dust, sand, and dirt that have accumulated on the site over approximately one month.

Final Water Washing The floor polished by grinding will undergo a final water wash. The luster in the foreground emanates from the floor itself. It is not a reflection of water. By taking the time to grind the floor to achieve strength, such elegant luster and cleanliness are manifested.
