A consultation was received from an automotive parts manufacturer, stating that they could not punch out fiber materials with molds from other companies, resulting in poor productivity, and they wanted to process with their own molds. In response, we proposed a minimal clearance of 0.003mm and improvements in mold structure and component accuracy. As a result, we were able to punch out the Vectran fiber material (t=0.05mm) due to the difference in clearance.
