Mounted on a welding robot positioner: Cleared evaluation of rotating a 5-ton steel plate at 3000 RPM in the forward direction → stop → reverse direction for 30 days repeatedly.
A positioner for welding robots equipped with Eastern Company's drum-shaped worm gear (evaluation video from 50 seconds) 1) Application of Eastern Gear Company's drum-shaped worm gear with a center distance of 75mm to a positioner with a load capacity of 2500Kg/5000Kg 2) Evaluation conducted over 30 days with a 5-ton steel plate, repeatedly rotating the load at 3000RPM in the forward direction → stop → reverse direction 3) Evaluation results showed no heat generation, misalignment, or output variation 4) The repeatability accuracy standard is within ±0.1mm: Eastern Gear Company's gear evaluation result meets the standard value sufficiently at ±0.02mm : The above example is just one case, and the range of applications in other fields is very broad.

basic information
1. What is Eastern Company? (http://www.epglab.com/) A company founded by an engineer who ran a gear consulting firm in the United States, established in his home country of South Korea. 2. What is Eastern Company's drum-shaped worm gear? 1) Achieves an increase in contact surface area (1/8 circumference) compared to conventional worm gears through groundbreaking tooth shape design technology. - Wide contact surface → Power distribution → Increased output → High energy efficiency - Self-locking function, high repeat accuracy, high output, high precision - Maintains long lifespan by minimizing NVH [noise, vibration, wear resistance] and heat generation - Downsizing, high safety factor The application for welding robot positioners is just one example. From electric vehicles, steelmaking equipment, and robot bodies to elevators and tower cranes, covering both small and large devices and equipment, we welcome inquiries in all fields where precise transmission of significant force is required.
