The "Waterproof Type" membrane switch is a membrane switch that can meet IP standards and others. To prevent water from entering from the outside, the outer perimeter of the contact area is surrounded by a strong adhesive waterproof tape, enhancing its waterproof properties. Essentially, it can accommodate any type of membrane switch, including flat, click embossed, and poly dome.   <Case Study> Membrane Switch Control Panel for Coin Parking Machine (IP67 Waterproof) This is a case where a membrane switch is used for the control panel of an outdoor flat coin parking machine. Since it is for outdoor use, we have designed a completely waterproof type of membrane switch to prevent rainwater and other elements from entering and causing electrical malfunctions (IP67 waterproof). There have been no major reports of issues, and we have shipped over 5,000 units to date. Even after more than 15 years since its development, we continue to receive regular orders.

  <Case Study> Operation Panel of Digital Pressure Gauge This was produced at the request of a pressure gauge manufacturing company. In pursuit of both environmental resistance and ease of use, we have created a membrane switch that combines a highly reliable waterproof type with a click-embossed type that enhances tactile feedback and design. The size of the embossing (emboss diameter) is very small at Φ6, but through careful design, we have achieved a good click sensation. Although the development was about 15 years ago, we have not received any reports of defects and have received positive feedback from customers. We continue to receive regular orders even now.
