The hardened layer material used on the inner surface of the extruder cylinder must possess sufficient corrosion resistance suitable for each plastic manufacturing process, as well as wear resistance that satisfies long-term continuous operation. 'JMB-22' is utilized by customers operating under advanced processes as a hardened layer material that combines wear resistance and corrosion resistance. This document includes diagrams and features that present a comparison of the wear and corrosion resistance of the current representative cylinder hardened layer materials and our product.
