Wear-resistant processing of brazing carbide with knurling on the surface of the chuck tool.
A wear-resistant processing treatment that involves brazing cemented carbide with a knurled surface using tools for checking items.
The chuck used for gripping objects may be exposed to wear depending on the object being gripped. Therefore, highly wear-resistant carbide is sometimes selected as a material for the chuck. Particularly for the purpose of gripping objects, it is common to process the surface with a knurling treatment as an anti-slip measure, and this is done using carbide. In such cases, it is possible to manufacture the entire chuck tool from solid carbide, but it is also feasible to consider carbide brazed products where only the surface area, which is the action point, is made of carbide while the base material is made of steel. Ultimately, it can be considered that simply applying knurling to the carbide at the areas exposed to wear would achieve the intended purpose.
