The "PPTFE Series High Purity Pharmaceutical Grade PTFE Filter Cartridge," which uses extended polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes, provides optimized filtration performance for sterile air/gas filtration and venting applications. The single-layer PTFE membrane, which has more than twice the hydrophobicity of polypropylene or PVDF, is the choice to prevent water ingress and the resulting proliferation of microorganisms.
