Case study on the removal of red rust from cooling water (chiller water) [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 1]
Conducting a test to confirm the effectiveness of rust removal! After the test, we will introduce cases where the rust was beautifully removed.
We would like to introduce the test conducted by our company to confirm the effectiveness of Polar in removing red rust. The water tank used was made from a drum that had been utilized during fire training, and it was quite rusty both inside and out. The purpose of the test was to observe how the rust on the inside and bottom, which came into contact with Polar water, would change. During the test, the rust inside the tank (drum) caused the water to become red and murky, making the bottom invisible. However, after the test, the rust on the inner walls and bottom that had come into contact with Polar water was completely removed. It should be noted that the upper part of the inner wall, about 10 cm high, which did not come into contact with Polar water, remained unchanged from before the test. [Test Overview] ■ Duration: February 23, 1989 - March 16, 1989 ■ Location: Underground boiler room of a certain automobile dealer headquarters in Nagano City ■ Purpose - To remove the red rust (Fe203) generated inside the sample pipe by Polar and to see if it can be reduced to black rust (Fe304). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

**Test Results (Excerpt)** ■ Red Rust in the Sample Pipe - From around the 4th day, the rust nodules began to shrink, and by the 15th day, they were almost completely removed. It was confirmed that they completely disappeared after continuing for another 6 days. ■ Transformation of Red Rust (Fe2O3) to Black Rust (Fe3O4) - It was confirmed that the reduction process caused the transformation of red rust to black rust, as my finger turned completely black when I rubbed the inside of the pipe, and black rust particles collected from the bottom of the tank with a magnet were observed. ■ Rust in the Tank (Drum) - During the test, the water was red and murky, making the bottom invisible. However, after the test, the rust on the inner walls and bottom that had been in contact with polar water was completely removed. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
