This is an assist suit designed to reduce the workload when using a shovel. It is recommended for tasks such as grass cutting and snow shoveling. It is a vest type that can be worn simply by tightening the belts around the chest and waist. Weighing approximately 500g, it is very lightweight, about 1/8 the weight of electric types. The assist function is activated by the rubber material on the back of the vest and the shoulder-arm rubber belt that connects the back of the shoulder to the opposite upper arm of the dominant hand. When a worker bends forward to scoop snow with a shovel, the back material and shoulder-arm belt stretch, and conversely, when scooping up snow, both materials attempt to contract, providing assistive force and reducing the workload. The waist belt also has a pelvic corset function that stabilizes the waist, helping to maintain a stable working posture and prevent the occurrence of lower back pain.
