The whole-house heating and cooling system "Espas" uses two air conditioners to provide heating and cooling for a single home. During heating, the air conditioner installed mainly on the ceiling of the first floor acts as a "floor air conditioner," while during cooling, the system utilizes the air conditioner on the first floor and the room air conditioner on the second floor. (Depending on the cooling load of the building, the air conditioner on the second floor may serve as a supplementary air conditioner during extreme heat.) This system is designed individually based on the region of the residence and the size of the building, aiming for maximum performance at minimal cost.
