In response, we proposed the KMβ model with a "direct drive type" motor positioned directly under the main shaft, instead of the usual V-belt drive system. ■Results of the implementation■ Since there is no V-belt for driving, dust generation due to sliding has been eliminated, allowing us to keep the work area clean. There is no need to install the motor base next to the centrifuge. Even in a limited area, it is possible to keep the installation area compact. In addition to the top discharge type KMβ, there are also examples of direct connection types under the motor for the bottom discharge type DMNβ. While there is also the MARKIIIβ with a direct connection type above the motor for the same bottom discharge type, the DMNβ features a casing that can be opened, making it easier to check the cleaning of the basket. Therefore, we recommend this option when handling a large number of items.
