As the red rust gradually transforms into black rust with a volume reduction of 1/10 due to the NMR Pipe Protector, the Palace Tsurumi conducted an endoscopic investigation of the red rust blockage rate at two locations in the seventh year after installation, showing a reduction in blockage rates of 35.3% and 17.4% compared to before installation.
