Publication on the sound absorption performance of thin, high-strength microfiber non-woven fabric!
This document presents the sound absorption performance of the vertical fiber-oriented non-woven fabric "Mirai-F MF," which utilizes special spinning technology. Measurements of the sound absorption performance revealed that the laminated type exhibits high sound absorption performance at low frequencies, and that a greater number of layers enhances absorption at lower frequencies. Additionally, it was found that the sound absorption performance changes with compression. The effects of fiber thinning and the sound absorption performance when multiple sound-absorbing materials are layered are introduced using photos and graphs.
