Since its establishment, our research institute has been engaged in comprehensive safety testing and evaluation of robots at the Robot Safety Testing Center in Tsukuba, starting in 2009, based on the automotive safety testing and evaluation we have cultivated over the years, in order to better serve a wider range of industries. We are pleased to announce that the Robot Safety Testing Center is now available not only for traditional robot-related testing but also for a wide range of product testing. We are a testing and research institution that broadly accepts examinations and research from everyone. Our institute was established in April 1969 as the Automotive High-Speed Testing Ground Foundation, reorganized to conduct comprehensive research related to automobiles, and has engaged in neutral and public activities as a public testing and research institution, progressing alongside the development of Japan's automotive industry and advancements in automotive technology. In 2012, we became the Japan Automobile Research Institute, a research institute that broadly accepts examinations and research from everyone, while maintaining our public activities and contributing to the further advancement of the automotive society in the 21st century.
