In the application that is added to the existing system, the AI Gateway functions as an intermediary between the camera and the host PC. The AI Gateway supports a wide range of interface protocols, including GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, Camera Link, and MIPI. The AI Gateway can optionally incorporate perClass's hyperspectral image editing software (perClass MIra). By using perClass Mira integrated into the AI Gateway along with a hyperspectral camera in the existing inspection system, it will become possible to identify the composition of tablets and plastics that could not be detected by conventional industrial cameras.
