Conventional snow fences have been ineffective against oblique winds of 45° or less relative to the road. Therefore, we developed a high-performance snow fence designed to respond to oblique winds by changing the wind direction and further lifting the snow to cross the road over a short distance and carry it away from the road. As a result, visibility during snowstorms is secured, significantly improving road traffic safety.
