The "Speedometer Tester - Model F3" is a measuring instrument designed to simultaneously test the speedometer, operation status recording device, and ATS (Automatic Train Stop) non-engagement device installed on diesel locomotives. The speed generators used in these locomotives generate a frequency proportional to the rotational speed, unlike conventional electric speedometers, and the output voltage also increases proportionally with the rotational speed.
