Reinforced concrete (RC) beam and steel (S) construction method.
The "RCS construction method" features a structural form where the columns are made of reinforced concrete and the beams are made of steel, specifically a column-RC beam-S structure. The column-beam joint section can adopt two types of details, "shear reinforcement type" and "closure plate type," considering stress transmission, making it a construction method that allows for these options. It enables the combination of the two types of details for the column-beam joint, allowing for a design aspect where the joint can be made flush with the concrete surface, similar to the shear reinforcement type. Additionally, by allowing concrete strength up to 60 N/mm², it can be sufficiently applied to large-scale buildings. 【Features】 ■ Capable of using high-strength materials ■ Joint shapes can be selected ■ Effective for buildings with large spaces ■ Expected to be a cost-reducing construction method *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
