This technology is a tunneling support system that enables real-time management of tunnel excavation shape and quantitative evaluation of ground conditions during excavation using a free-section excavator. In this system, the position and posture of the excavator are monitored using a high-speed 3D scanner installed on the machine, allowing for the real-time visualization of excavation position information (the position of the cutter tip) while simultaneously quantitatively evaluating the characteristics of the excavated ground based on the amount of electrical energy consumed during excavation.
