The Outplate method is a reinforcement technique that involves tensioning a prefabricated CFRP plate (Outplate) with anchoring bodies at both ends, fixing and bonding it to an existing concrete structure. Compared to conventional continuous fiber sheet bonding methods, tensioning the Outplate allows for the introduction of prestress into the concrete. This method achieves significant reinforcement effects with a minimal amount of reinforcement material.
