Explosion-proof emergency LED lighting "VZBA Series" compatible with ZONE 1 and 2.
Explosion-proof emergency LED lighting VZBA-V2 series
Explosion-proof emergency LED lighting fixture that lights up with a built-in battery during power outages or power interruptions! One unit can achieve full LED conversion in explosion-proof areas.
The explosion-proof emergency LED lighting fixture (VZBA-V2 series) complies with IEC standards (International Harmonized Explosion Protection Guidelines) and can be used in explosive hazardous locations such as ZONE 1, ZONE 2, and areas where hydrogen gas is present. It integrates a separate emergency light source powered by an internal rechargeable battery that lights up during power outages or power interruptions, providing 30 minutes of illumination during such emergencies. This explosion-proof emergency lighting fixture not only ensures lighting for evacuation guidance but is also gaining attention as a necessary device for safety and security inspections of equipment. With this single unit, reliable and safe lighting can be secured both during normal and emergency situations, enabling full LED implementation in explosion-proof areas. <Features> 1. Compatible with ZONE 1, 2, and hydrogen explosion-proof requirements. 2. The light source of the linear LED module lights up during normal operation and can be replaced for maintenance. 3. While ensuring brightness during emergencies, it has a wider installation spacing compared to conventional explosion-proof emergency fluorescent fixtures. 4. Charging status can be checked via a lamp monitor (green: normal, off: abnormal). 5. Uses environmentally friendly nickel-hydrogen batteries. *For more details, please refer to the documentation. What is emergency lighting in the first place? Emergency lighting is designed to ensure that safe evacuation actions can be taken during power outages caused by disasters. Emergency lighting provides the minimum brightness necessary for initial evacuation guidance and rescue operations, serving as a "lifesaving light" mandated by fire safety laws and building codes. There are three types of emergency lighting: emergency lights, guiding lights, and security lights, all of which are designed to illuminate using built-in batteries during power outages.

Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started an electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our creative thinking and technological capabilities cultivated thus far to develop even more innovative products and strive for business expansion.
