The Meiko Group was founded in 1932 and will celebrate its "85th anniversary" in October 2017. It is a specialized manufacturer of electrical machinery and equipment consisting of four companies: three wiring device manufacturing and sales companies—Meiko Co., Ltd., Fukushima Meiko Co., Ltd., and Meiko Shoji Co., Ltd.—and one distribution panel manufacturing and sales company, Meiko Sangyo Co., Ltd.
