Taiyo Sangyo Co., Ltd. is a paint manufacturing company specializing in high-brightness metallic paints primarily for automotive interior and exterior parts (OEM). Taiyo Sangyo aims to leverage its unique expertise in metallic and luminescent paints to remain a manufacturer that is always one step ahead in this field. In 1962, when most metallic paints were imported and considered specialty paints, we began research and development on metallic paints, successfully developing them after several years. We then started in-house production of metallic paints, which have been our main products for about 50 years up to the present day. To achieve a more metallic appearance in our metallic paints, the results of years of research and development blossomed in 1996 with the successful development of Metal Star, an ultra-high-brightness metallic paint that surpasses the aesthetic qualities of conventional metallic paints. In October 1997, it was adopted for mass production in automotive exterior parts, and we have since been committed to stable quality and supply.
