Pedal-operated disinfectant stand "JP Series"
Pedal-operated disinfectant stand "JP Series"
Eliminate the resistance of pushing a hand pump to achieve safe, reliable, and speedy hand disinfection. It is especially recommended for industries with a high number of visitors!
As a new normal after COVID-19, achieving 100% hand disinfection for visitors before and during entry is an essential requirement for businesses. However, some businesses that have already installed hand-pump type disinfectants have reported concerns such as "it seems that some people are entering without disinfecting, there are queues at the disinfectant stations causing stress for customers, and when carrying luggage, using a hand pump feels cumbersome or there is resistance to putting down bags, leading to discomfort with the time taken for entry." There may be a trade-off between ensuring safety and the hassle, time, and stress involved. Each visitor does not intend to act in an unsafe or impulsive manner, but when faced with the procedures at the time of entry, it may become difficult to adhere to 100% of the steps. By placing pedal-operated disinfectant stands from the "JP series" individually, or in pairs, or even in multiple rows, we can create a natural flow that prevents unsafe behaviors and contribute to ensuring the safety of customers themselves and those around them, including the businesses.

basic information
At the time of entry, disinfection must be performed, but "who pressed this pump before me?" and "is the push area okay??" This vague anxiety hinders the 100% disinfection that operators seek. The optimal solution to alleviate this anxiety is a foot-operated type. In the case of a hand-operated type, the time taken per person increases due to handling luggage and maintaining distance with companions. The proximity sensor + electric pump type is hygienic and reassuring as it is non-contact, but it requires a certain lead time for each cycle, and in addition to managing the cleaning agents, there is also the need to manage the risk of stopping due to battery depletion. In situations where there is no room for error, such as during disasters or at night, a thorough management system is necessary to ensure 100% disinfection.

Company information
Jōshin Kōgyō Co., Ltd. is a company located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, that designs and manufactures control panels for machine tools, various types of covers, monitors and camera mounting brackets for railway platforms, metal laser processing, and various precision sheet metal processing. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we considered what contributions a sheet metal manufacturing company could make. As a result of our comprehensive approach to planning, design, prototyping, and manufacturing sales, we began selling pedal-operated disinfectant stands. Infection control measures are not just temporary; they will become a very basic solution in the new normal after COVID-19. We aim to expand from Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya to the whole country and globally, contributing to the end of the pandemic. Due to our small size, we will promptly advance our options. Development and design policy for the pedal-operated disinfectant stand: 1) Reliable design that withstands commercial and professional use, 2) Eliminate infections from hand-pump sources to alleviate visitors' concerns, 3) Quickly and reliably complete hand disinfection for many visitors, meeting the expectations of adopters, 4) Designed with disaster recovery scenarios in mind, requiring no power supply.
