This product was developed in collaboration with NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) in 1987 for the development of high-performance sacrificial anodes. It is patented under the product name "POLCOR" and has been manufactured by EPE S.A. in Greece since 1990. In addition to ships, offshore anodes are also available for oil platforms, ports, underwater pipelines, and offshore wind farms.
