ActiveImage Protector for Express5800/ft Virtual is a backup solution developed in collaboration with NEC for the virtual environment models of the Express5800/ft servers. It enables complete backups, including the system, and fast recovery, allowing for quick restoration of the system from "software failures" that cannot be prevented by hardware redundancy. It can reliably and quickly back up the host systems and data volumes of virtual environments configured with Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware ESXi on the Express5800/ft servers through disk imaging. In the event of a failure, it allows for rapid restoration. By utilizing the advanced imaging technology of ActiveImage Protector that is compatible with the virtualization era, it further enhances the already excellent redundancy structure of the Express5800/ft servers into the ultimate high availability system environment. ActiveImage Protector 2018 is fully compatible with the centralized management console, ActiveVisor.
