We developed a safety experience education system utilizing VR technology at the request of Daitetsu Industrial Co., Ltd. This educational content aims to share crisis awareness and improve safety awareness by allowing users to experience labor accidents related to railway construction. The scenarios include five types: contact with trains (type 2), falls from bridges, heavy machinery accidents, and limit obstacles, all created with realistic 3DCG based on thorough on-site research to provide an immersive experience. A system that manages 10 Oculus Quest devices collectively has been adopted, compensating for the drawback of VR that can only be experienced individually, allowing for use in group training as well.
