Hygienic water level control system
The heating device bus keeper "SHS series" supports pressure sensor-based water level control for all models! With controller operation, hot water filling and heat retention operation can be fully automated with the push of a button. It is very hygienic as there is no stagnant water like in conventional electrode-type water level measuring piping.

Conventional electrode-type water level control has areas of concern regarding the stagnation of water in the piping up to the water level electrode, which raises worries about bacterial growth. In the revision of the guidelines for hygiene management in public baths (Notification from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated September 19, 2019), the following items regarding water level gauges are clearly stated. In particular, the requirement to remove biofilms at least once a week using appropriate disinfection methods is very challenging, so pressure sensor-type water level control is recommended! Excerpt: 2 Facility Equipment: General Public Bath No. 1, 4 Bathing Rooms (18) The installation of water level gauges must be of a structure that allows for cleaning and disinfection of the piping, or must use a sensor method that does not require piping. 3 Hygiene Management: General Public Bath No. 1, Overall Management of the Facility (1) Facility maintenance must be conducted according to the table below, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene through cleaning and disinfection. Appropriate disinfectants must be used according to the materials, and when discharging into rivers and lakes, necessary treatments for environmental conservation must be carried out. (Excerpt from the table below) Water level gauge piping: Biofilms must be removed at least once a week using appropriate disinfection methods.
