Hygienic water level control system
The automatic backwashing sand filtration device "PRT Series" is compatible with pressure sensor-based water level control for all models! It is very hygienic as there is no stagnant water like in conventional electrode-type water level gauge piping. Water level settings can be configured via touch panel operation. There is no need to cut electrode rods like with electrode-type systems. Even after operation begins, it is easy to change the water level settings if needed.

Automatic water supply control is a very convenient feature that fills the water to the set level during hot water filling or when the water level drops (due to evaporation, bathers, or backwashing operation). Conventional electrode-type water level control has been a concern because the piping up to the water level electrode can become stagnant water, raising the risk of bacterial growth. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (notification dated September 19, 2019) has specified the following items regarding water level gauges in the revised guidelines for hygiene management in public baths. In particular, the requirement to remove biofilms at least once a week using appropriate disinfection methods is very challenging, so pressure sensor-type water level control is recommended! Excerpt: 2 Facility Equipment: First General Public Bath, 4 Bathing Rooms (18) The installation of water level gauges must have a structure that allows for the cleaning and disinfection of the piping, or be a sensor type that does not require piping. 3 Hygiene Management: First General Public Bath, Overall Management of the Facility (1) Facility maintenance must be carried out according to the table below to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Appropriate disinfectants should be used according to the materials, and when discharging into rivers and lakes, necessary treatment for environmental conservation must be conducted.
