Heat Shielding Air Conditioner Outdoor Unit Energy Saving Improvement Case Study

A case where energy savings were achieved by cutting solar radiation heat to the outdoor unit of a factory air conditioner.

We would like to introduce a case where energy savings were achieved by cutting the solar radiation heat on the outdoor unit of a factory air conditioner. There was a challenge: "The air conditioning is not effective in summer, and the indoor environment is hot, so we want to implement heat countermeasures." In response, a high-temperature heat insulation sheet was applied to the air conditioner’s outdoor unit. (The installation was carried out by the customer.) As a result, by reflecting sunlight and preventing the outdoor unit from becoming hot, the air conditioning performance improved significantly, leading to a substantial reduction in electricity consumption compared to air conditioners without the heat insulation sheet.
