As a result, it has a large surface area and exhibits excellent adsorption capabilities. Additionally, it can help regulate humidity and provide relaxation effects through infrared radiation. Bamboo charcoal is a health material that protects modern people from air and water pollution, odors, chemicals, and stress. Compared to wood charcoal, bamboo charcoal is more porous, with countless microscopic pores, and has a hexagonal structure similar to a honeycomb. When carbonized, there is a significant difference in its adsorption capacity, exceeding 600 square meters per gram, which corresponds to more than three times the surface area of wood charcoal.
