The digital protection relay device is actively used as a protection relay (trip relay for circuit breakers) to quickly and accurately detect faults in transmission and distribution lines, and to promptly isolate the fault section from the healthy system. ■ Features of the Bestact built-in relay 1) Fast operating time: The operating time is less than 3ms to quickly implement the isolation of the fault section. 2) Large contact closing capacity: To energize the circuit breaker’s closing coil, it has a contact closing capacity of over 10,000 times with a load of DC110V, 15A (L/R≧5ms) for 0.5 seconds. 3) Large contact opening capacity: To interrupt the circuit breaker’s holding coil, it has a contact opening capacity of over 400,000 times with a load of DC110V, 0.5A (L/R=40ms). 4) High contact reliability: It has high contact reliability for infrequent use. With computer control detecting accidents such as short circuits, the command contacts that trip the circuit breaker require “high contact reliability for infrequent use,” “high speed,” and “contact closing and opening capacity,” for which our Bestact relay, known for its excellent environmental resistance, is adopted.
