It has been revealed that human coronavirus is completely inactivated (killed) within 5 minutes when attached to "additive-free housing original plaster."
In this inspection, we conducted tests by applying human coronavirus (HCoV-229E) to our original additive-free plaster. The results showed that the virus was completely inactivated five minutes after application. (This test used "human coronavirus," which has a 90% genetic match with the novel coronavirus. Furthermore, according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, coronaviruses can survive for more than three days when attached to plastic or stainless steel. Even considering this perspective, it has been confirmed that our original additive-free plaster possesses beneficial properties. *While our plaster has the ability to inactivate viruses, it does not guarantee infection prevention. The Biomedical Science Research Association was established in 1987 by researchers from a research institution under the Ministry of Health, with a focus on utilizing research personnel, linking basic and applied research in preventive medicine, and international cooperation. Currently, it aims to support industry, government, academia, and the public, and is engaged in social support and awareness activities in the fields of infectious diseases and public health, both domestically and internationally, based on preventive medicine and biosafety technology (safety management and operation of pathogens, etc.).

Based on these results, we believe similar effects can be expected for other enveloped viruses that have an envelope. *This test was conducted using "test pieces" and does not indicate the performance of buildings. Note 1: "Human Coronavirus (HCoV-229E)" is a different virus from "novel coronavirus (COVID-19)." Note 2: "100% inactivation (killing)" indicates that it is below the detection limit.
