FRP, which is lightweight and also has corrosion resistance, is expected to have an expanding range of applications as an alternative to metal materials. On the other hand, when the design is fundamentally based on replacing metal, it is often required to have equivalent aesthetics, making surface finishing of the exposed areas in hand lay-up molding an unavoidable necessity.
