- Transmits 8 channels of composite video (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) over a single optical fiber. - Transmission is done using a transmitter (VAD-i800.TC) and a receiver (VAD-i800.RC). - The transmission distance is up to 20 km for single mode and up to 1 km for multi-mode. - The video signal is sampled at an uncompressed 8-bit 27 MHz, minimizing signal degradation. - The optical fiber is not affected by noise from other devices or cables. - The optical fiber does not generate noise such as electromagnetic waves. - Ground loops that can cause video noise do not occur. - Operates on DC 9-12V (DC 12V power adapter included). - When installing multiple units, you can use the separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis (VAD-RACK-14-4U) to consolidate up to 7 units. *This product does not support AHD / HD-TVI / HDCVI (analog HD) video signals. Compatible products are the VAD-H series and HD401F series.
