There is almost no smell in the air expelled from the smoking booth. The activated carbon deodorizing devices "Cigar POT" and "Q-Pot" adsorb gaseous substances in a single pass.

The deodorizing ability of activated carbon is equivalent to more than 47,000 cigarettes. The deodorizing capacity of activated carbon is proportional to its weight. The activated carbon built into "Cigar Pro" and "Q-Pot" weighs approximately 20 kg each. This means it can adsorb and capture more than 47,000 environmental tobacco smoke (ETS). The replacement of activated carbon is carried out at our partner activated carbon factory, so there are no disposal costs for the activated carbon. Maintenance work involves simply replacing the used cylindrical cartridge with a new cylindrical cartridge filled with activated carbon, resulting in a short work time and no mess from carbon in the smoking room. Activated carbon is recognized as an effective technology for removing VOCs.

The adsorption capacity of activated carbon varies significantly depending on the passage speed of gaseous substances and the contact time. A slower passage speed and longer contact time result in higher deodorization effectiveness, but this increases the amount of activated carbon needed, making the device larger. The smoking booth with smoke removal function, "Kantan Dash Cigar Pro," achieves high deodorization performance despite its compact size by using a uniquely developed cylindrical cartridge (made of SUS). By further drawing exhaust from the bottom of the "Cigar POT" into the exhaust deodorization device "Q-Pot," an odor removal efficiency of over 90% is achieved. As a result, the smell of exhaust coming from the ceiling is hardly noticeable.

Use tar removal filters suitable for oily nicotine removal. The filters used in the "Kantan Dash Cigar Pro" for particulate matter removal are not pre-filters used in air purifiers, but rather two tar removal filters (glass fiber with an 86% removal rate) suitable for oily nicotine removal, which also helps extend the life of the activated carbon. Additionally, HEPA filters are used for further particulate matter removal.
