It supplies power via PoE and transmits Ethernet and power to an EPoT transmitter (TX) up to 1,200 meters away using CAT5e or higher UTP/STP cables (LAN cables). It extends the transmission distance to 1,200 meters (CAT5e or higher) without the need for repeaters, which is beyond the typical limit of 100 meters for standard Ethernet. Since no repeaters are required, it can be used in locations such as overhead wiring or underground installations.
